About Jake Seal
Businessman, producer, director and actor Jake Seal is a well-known entrepreneur and technologist within the entertainment industry. He is the founder and owner of several companies, including Metapixel.World, Undivided and the ORWO family of companies, the latter of which comprises, among others, ORWO Distribution and ORWO Studios (best known for its involvement in films including Star Wars: Rogue One, The Maze Runner, Twilight, Dream Boy and The Magnificent Seven), and Black Hangar Studios.
ORWO Distribution is a worldwide boutique sales agency boasting theatrical ability in territories including the US and UK. Titles that the company has distributed include 97 Minutes, All the Little Things We Kill, Blaze, Born to be Blue, Breaking the Bank, Revengers Code, Grand Isle, Jeepers Creepers: Reborn, J’Kids, Last Hour, Manipulation, Momentum, Skypaths, The Chelsea Cowboy, Two Families, The Fallow Few, Terror of the Soul, I Live Here Now and Two Families. The latter movie, directed by Romano Scavolini and starring Casper Zafer, Susie Amy and Richard Johnson, follows a young man as he struggles to escape his mafia family upbringing.
In 2024, ORWO Distribution also distributed titles including Crooked Man and Cut, both directed by Louisa Warren, Foundations, directed by Antony Petrou, Hospitality, directed by Mike Salomon, Silent Night Deadly Night, directed by Jamie Blanks, and The Chair, directed by Maguy Cohen, as well as The Well, directed by Misko Massanyi. This last movie tells the story of an injured woman trapped in a deep well who must come face to face with a dangerous stranger to save her daughter from a harrowing experience.
Jake has produced numerous acclaimed films, including Breaking the Bank, Born to Be Blue, Jeepers Creepers 3, Jeepers Creepers: Reborn, Blaze, Grand Isle, Back Roads and Willy’s Wonderland. He has become well-regarded in the movie industry for financing, developing and producing big name film franchises that are finding it difficult to get off the ground, such as Silent Night Deadly Night and Jeepers Creepers. The latter enjoyed significant commercial success upon its release in 2001 and was followed by a sequel in 2003. Despite the success of these movies the franchise subsequently laid dormant for 15 years, although various parties attempted to resurrect it during this period. However, once Jake came on board as financier and producer of Jeepers Creepers 3, the film entered and completed production within eight months.
Jake originally hails from London but now considers himself a global citizen and lives internationally, with a favoured focus on Louisiana. He is married to Jodie Seal, a former Miss Australia, and the couple has three sons and one daughter.
